On Monday, President Trump and wife Melania are expected to land on Air Force One at Stansted airport in Essex. They will be flown by Marine One to central London.
The Queen will officially welcome the Trumps in the private garden of Buckingham Palace – skipping the usual, more public venue of Horse Guards Parade. Prince Charles and Camilla will be present.
Afterwards, a private lunch will take place at the palace. Prince Harry will attend.
In the evening, the state banquet will be held in the ballroom of Buckingham Palace. Prince Charles, Camilla, Prince William and Kate will attend. Jeremy Corbyn and the Speaker of the House of Commons John Bercow have said they will not attend the banquet. But Corbyn has said he is prepared to meet the president.
