Williamson had denied leaking from national security council
The Prime Minister has sacked Gavin Williamson as Defence Secretary.
In a letter, she said she no longer had confidence in Williamson, expressing concerns over the manner he engaging with an inquiry into the leak of information from the national security council last week.
The letter continued that there was “compelling evidence” suggesting Williamson was behind the leak.
